Yes, a lapsed LEI can be reactivated by filing a renewal application with LEIL and paying any outstanding renewal fees. The LEI number itself does not change. However, during the lapsed period, the entity cannot use the LEI for any regulated financial transactions. It is strongly recommended to renew before expiry to avoid operational disruptions in Bhavnagar.
