Landing Page Development

One offer, one audience, one action, and tracking that is verified with a real submission before a unit of spend runs. A landing page is a measuring instrument, and most of them are never calibrated.

  • Headline message matched to the ad, in the ad's own words
  • Copy written and approved before anything is designed
  • GA4, Google Ads and Meta conversion tracking, verified live
  • A server-side lead record, so a blocked browser event loses nothing

01 Structure

What goes on a landing page, in order?

Seven blocks, and the order is not decorative. A visitor from a paid click gives roughly a screen and a half before deciding, so the page has to earn the second screen with the first.

  1. Step 1: The matched headline

Repeats the promise the advertisement made, in the same words. The single cheapest conversion fix, and the one most often skipped.

    Above the fold
  2. Step 2: One line of proof

A number, a named client, a rating or a credential. Something that makes the headline plausible before anyone scrolls.

    Above the fold
  3. Step 3: The action

The form or the button, visible without scrolling on a phone. Field count is negotiated down, because each one costs completions.

    Above the fold
  4. Step 4: What you actually get

Deliverables in plain language. Not features, not adjectives, and not a list that could describe any competitor.

    Second screen
  5. Step 5: The objection

The one reason this audience does not buy, answered directly. Price, trust, switching cost or timing, and only the one that applies.

    Second screen
  6. Step 6: Proof at depth

Case detail, reviews, certifications, a real address and phone number. Everything a sceptic checks before filling a form.

    Third screen
  7. Step 7: The action again

The same action, same words, at the point where a convinced reader has run out of page.

Sizing a test before you run it

A test is sized for 95% confidence before a variant is built, not read afterwards until it says something. At a 3% conversion rate, detecting a one point improvement needs roughly 1,500 sessions per variant. Where the traffic will not reach that inside the campaign, we say so and change something larger instead.

02 Diagnosis

Why do most landing pages underperform?

Rarely because of the design. In short, six failures account for nearly everything we are asked to fix, and five of them are decided before a designer opens a file.

The six failures, and what each one actually costs
FailureWhat it looks likeThe fix
No message matchAd promises a specific offer, page opens with a company taglineHeadline repeats the ad promise verbatim
More than one actionCall, WhatsApp, download, subscribe and a nav bar, all competingOne action, repeated; everything else removed
Navigation outA full site menu on a campaign pageLogo only, no menu, no footer links except policies
Untested trackingConversions counted by a tag nobody ever firedA real submission verified end to end before spend
Slow on mobile dataA hero video and six web fonts on a 4G connectionA hard performance budget, measured per template
Form asking too muchNine fields for a first enquiryThe minimum that lets sales make the first call

What we measure against

Every rebuild starts by recording the current conversion rate, cost per lead and lead quality for a defined period, so the comparison afterwards is against a number rather than an impression. If the existing page has no tracking, the first two weeks are spent creating the baseline.

03 Delivery

From brief to live in 5 to 10 working days

The brief is the slow part and the build is the fast part, which is the opposite of how most people budget the time.

  1. Brief and offer

Offer, audience, single action and the one objection to answer, settled in writing. Nothing is designed until this is agreed.

    Day 1 to 2
  2. Copy

Headline, proof, deliverables, objection handling and form labels written and approved. On a landing page the copy is the page.

    Day 2 to 4
  3. Design and build

One action, no navigation out, mobile first, against a hard performance budget measured on a real device.

    Day 4 to 8
  4. Instrument and verify

Tracking wired, then a real submission put through it to confirm the lead reached the inbox, the CRM and the conversion report.

    Day 8 to 9
  5. Launch and first read

Page live, spend switched on, and a first read of the numbers once there is enough traffic to say anything honest about them.

    Day 10

04 Measurement

What gets measured, and how

A landing page that cannot be measured is a brochure with a form on it. Four layers, and the fourth is the one most builds skip.

  • Page analytics. Google Analytics 4 with the page view, scroll depth, form start and form submit as distinct events, so you can see where a visitor stopped rather than only that they left.
  • Ad platform conversions. Google Ads and Meta conversion events, so the platforms optimise toward leads rather than clicks. Without this the algorithm is guessing.
  • Lead attribution. Every lead carries the campaign, the ad group, the page variant and a timestamp, which is what makes two pages comparable at all.
  • A server-side record. A copy of the submission written on the server. Ad blockers and failed browser events silently lose leads that a client-side-only setup never knows existed.

On A/B testing honestly

Most campaign volumes cannot resolve a small difference in two weeks. We size the test before running it, and where the traffic will not support a conclusion we say so and change something larger instead. Declaring a winner from noise is worse than not testing.

05 Compliance

Ad platform and data rules

Three practical constraints reach every campaign page. Disapprovals cost more time than the build did.

  • Ad platform requirements. A working privacy policy, real contact information and an accurate description of what is being sold. Accounts get disapproved for missing policy pages far more often than for ad text.
  • Consent for the form. The General Data Protection Regulation applies wherever your users are in the EU or the UK, and an equivalent regime applies elsewhere. Purpose-specific notice, and a route to withdraw.
  • Automated follow-up. Commercial messaging is consent-first almost everywhere: CAN-SPAM in the United States, and the ePrivacy rules read with the GDPR across the EU and UK. Each needs a real opt-in, an identifiable sender and an unsubscribe that works.

06 The people

Who do you actually work with?

A landing page is small enough that a large team slows it down. Two founders own it end to end.

The person who writes the page is the person who measures it. Fewer handoffs is why one ships in days rather than weeks.

  • Dhanush Prabha

    Co-Founder, CTO and CMO

Writes the copy, builds the page, wires the events, and reports on cost per qualified lead.

  • Sriram Ravichandran

    Founder and CEO

Sets the offer and the qualification bar, and decides what a good lead is worth.

  • Nebin Binoy, Compliance Expert at IncorpX

    Nebin Binoy

    Compliance Expert

Checks the consent notice on the form and what the page may claim about outcomes.

  • Ashwin Raghu, Legal Expert at IncorpX

    Ashwin Raghu

    Legal Expert

Reviews the advertising claims and the terms behind any offer the page makes.

07 Cross-border

How do we work with clients in another country?

None of this needs you to be in any particular country. The work is remote either way, so these are the answers a buyer asks for before signing, and they are the same on every engagement we run.

  • Working hours

Our day runs on UTC+5:30. The overlap window with your team is written into the scope rather than assumed, and everything outside it runs asynchronously.

  • How we communicate

One written update a day on the channel you already use, a standing weekly call inside the overlap window, and a named person to escalate to. Nothing important is agreed only on a call.

  • Who you contract with

Synerdyn Private Limited, the company behind IncorpX, named in the agreement with its registration number. The governing law and the forum are agreed before you sign, not after a dispute.

  • Currency and payment

Invoiced in your currency or in ours, your choice, and settled by bank transfer. Milestones are tied to deliverables you can see, never to elapsed time.

  • What you own

Copyright in everything built for you is assigned on final payment: source code, design files, prompts, configuration and documentation. Third-party licences are listed by name so nothing is a surprise later.

  • Where data sits

You choose the region your data is stored and processed in, and the answer is written down before the build starts, with who at IncorpX can reach it and for how long.

Offset from our working day standard time

  • London-5:30
  • Dubai-1:30
  • Singapore+2:30
  • Sydney+4:30
  • New York-10:30
  • San Francisco-13:30

IncorpX is a brand of Synerdyn Private Limited. The contracting entity, the governing law and the invoicing currency are all named in the proposal before you sign anything.

08 Reference

Terms used on this page

Message match
The headline repeating the advertisement's promise in the same words, so a visitor from a paid click does not have to re-orient.
Above the fold
What is visible without scrolling. On a phone, roughly the headline, one proof line and the first call to action.
Conversion rate
Completed actions divided by sessions, for a defined action and period. Comparable only against the same definition.
Server-side lead record
A copy of the submission written on the server, so an ad blocker or a failed browser event does not lose the lead.
Message-level attribution
Carrying the campaign, ad group and variant with the lead, which is what makes two pages comparable.
Sender registration
Registering the sending entity and its message templates before commercial messages are delivered. The form it takes differs by market; the requirement for a real opt-in and a working unsubscribe does not.
GDPR
The EU and UK data protection regime. Article 83 sets administrative fines of up to €20 million or 4% of worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher, which is why consent, retention and access control are build decisions here rather than paperwork.

09 Questions

Landing page FAQs

A landing page is a single page built for one campaign, one audience and one action, with no navigation out of it. Everything on it either moves a visitor toward that action or is removed. That constraint is what makes it measurable in a way a website page is not.

Next step

Send us the ad and the page it points at.

We will come back with what is breaking the message match, what the tracking is missing, and a fixed quote to rebuild it. Usually within one working day.
