Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read about Digital Marketing Associate. Here is everything you need to know about the role, in one place.
About the role
This is a generalist role by design. You will sit between the SEO, paid, content, and design functions and support all of them, which means you get exposure to more of digital marketing in a year here than you would get in three years inside a single channel.
Concretely: you will help the SEO team with research and optimization, help the paid team monitor and report on campaigns, coordinate content and creative between writers and designers, keep the campaign calendar honest, and own the reporting that tells everyone how things are going. You will also run smaller channels yourself, including social and email or WhatsApp campaigns.
We are looking for someone early in their career who is genuinely curious about how marketing works, comfortable with numbers, and reliable about follow-through. The reliability matters more than it sounds. A campaign calendar that people trust is worth more than a clever idea nobody executes.
You will not be doing this alone. Every area you touch has someone experienced owning it, and their job includes teaching you. Within a year we would expect you to have found the channel you want to specialize in, and to have the evidence to argue for it.
Responsibilities
Day to day, here’s what you’ll own:
- Support SEO with keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and competitor research.
- Monitor Google and Meta campaigns day to day, and prepare the performance summaries the team works from.
- Own the marketing reporting: traffic, campaign performance, leads, and conversions in GA4 and Looker Studio.
- Plan, schedule, and publish social content across our channels.
- Coordinate between writers and designers so content and creative land on time and on brief.
- Run email and WhatsApp campaigns for lead nurturing and remarketing.
- Keep UTM tagging and campaign tracking consistent, so attribution stays trustworthy.
- Maintain the campaign calendar, content schedule, and tracking documents.
- Research competitors, market trends, and new tools, and bring back what is worth acting on.
- Help run tests across creative, messaging, and landing pages, and write up what the results showed.
What we’re looking for
The right candidate brings most of the following:
- 1 to 3 years in digital marketing, performance marketing, SEO, social, or a closely related role.
- A working understanding of at least two of: SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media, email marketing.
- Comfortable in GA4 and Google Search Console, and confident with spreadsheets.
- You know what CTR, CPC, CPL, and conversion rate mean and why they can disagree with each other.
- Good written English for social copy, email, and internal reporting.
- Organized and dependable across parallel tasks. Deadlines here are real.
- Genuinely curious, and willing to say when you do not know something yet.
Nice to have
Not required, but a plus:
- Hands-on time in Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager.
- Ahrefs, Semrush, or Screaming Frog.
- Google Tag Manager.
- Looker Studio or another dashboard tool.
- Canva or basic design skills for quick assets.
- Email or WhatsApp marketing platforms.
- WordPress or another content management system, plus basic HTML.
- CRM and lead-management workflows.
- Experience at a startup, agency, or other fast-moving digital business.

Benefits for this role
Beyond compensation, here’s what comes with the role:
- Hybrid working from our Gurgaon office.
- Exposure to every major digital channel instead of one narrow slice.
- You learn directly from the specialists who own SEO, paid, content, and design.
- Real campaigns and real budgets from early on, not shadowing.
- Support to specialize in whichever channel you turn out to be strongest at.
- Small team, so the work you do is visible and attributable to you.
