Through its flagship Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana-RAFTAAR scheme, now PM-RKVY, it supports agri-entrepreneurship by providing financial assistance and growing the agribusiness incubation ecosystem nationwide.
RKVY-RAFTAAR runs through 24 RKVY Agribusiness Incubators set up across the country, backed by five knowledge partners for programme delivery and mentoring. Pre-seed startups can receive grants of up to Rs. 5 lakh, and seed-stage startups up to Rs. 25 lakh, awarded against milestones during incubation, with the programme providing physical incubation, mentoring from domain experts, agripreneurship orientation and training, and structured networking with investors, industry professionals, and potential customers.
