About this scheme
The International SpaceTech Startup Supporting Program is run by TAcc+, Taiwan's flagship startup acceleration initiative housed under the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The 2026 edition targets global spacetech startups looking to plug into the Asia-Pacific market through Taiwan's space-industry ecosystem.
Selected startups receive a structured month-long support experience in Taiwan covering orientation, an innovation tour, exhibition presence, and curated matchmaking with Taiwanese enterprises across the space supply chain. The program also offers field verification opportunities in 5G, maritime, and drone application environments , useful for founders who need real-world deployment data before scaling globally.
Financial support comes in the form of a travel subsidy: one round-trip ticket reimbursed up to USD 2,500 (approx. Rs. 2,25,000 at Rs. 90/USD) per selected startup. The headline value, however, is access , to Taiwan's corporate space players, supply chain partners, and potential strategic investors.
Focus areas span communication satellites and systems integration, remote sensing imagery applications, drones and UAV technologies, AI and edge computing for space, ground equipment, and satellite manufacturing. Startups with flight heritage are explicitly preferred. For Indian spacetech founders, this is a route to Asia-Pacific market entry through a partner ecosystem that MeitY Startup Hub is actively channelling Indian deeptech startups into.
