SRIJAN - R-ABI Student Entrepreneurship Programme
Non-dilutive student grant up to 4L per student for transforming agri-business ideas into ventures.
- Students and individuals at the idea stage building agri innovations in Uttar Pradesh.
About this scheme
SRIJAN is RKVY-RAFTAAR's dedicated pathway for student entrepreneurs working on agricultural and allied sector innovations. Unlike other programs, SRIJAN explicitly does not require participants to be registered as startups per DPIIT guidelines - the focus is on supporting the early ideation and proof-of-concept phase.
The program provides non-dilutive grant support up to 4 lakh per student to transform agri-business ideas and innovations into real products, services, and technologies. Each R-ABI or Knowledge Partner (KP) can support a maximum of 4 students per financial year, ensuring personalized mentorship and oversight.
Students gain access to R-ABI's incubation facilities, lab testing and certification support, training, mentoring sessions, and product development resources. The program removes the startup registration barrier, making it ideal for students who want to test their agri-business concept before formal incorporation - lowering the barrier to participation while maintaining rigorous evaluation of idea merit and feasibility.
