About IHFC, IIT Delhi
I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) is the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT Delhi, established under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
IHFC focuses on advancing collaborative robotics (Cobotics), artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, industrial automation, cyber-physical systems, intelligent sensing, autonomous technologies, and other emerging deep-tech domains. The hub brings together academia, industry, startups, government agencies, and research organizations to accelerate innovation, technology commercialization, and industry adoption.
The organization operates several innovation programmes that support researchers, startups, MSMEs, and technology companies through funding, incubation, mentorship, industry partnerships, and commercialization support. One of its flagship initiatives is UdyogTech Synapse 2026, an industry-led funding programme that provides grants of up to ₹5 crore for high-potential industrial deep-tech projects developed in collaboration with leading industry partners including Tech Mahindra, CMTI, and ColorJet.
