The IHFC, India Accelerator MedTech Impact Call 2026 is a funding and incubation drive built to speed up innovation in healthcare and life sciences. Launched by the I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) at IIT Delhi with India Accelerator, it backs startups building scalable, technology-driven healthcare solutions that carry real clinical weight and clear commercial potential.

The programme is geared to move startups from validation into real-world use by pairing capital with ecosystem support. Those selected can tap co-investment of up to Rs. 5 crore to push product development, run clinical validation, and scale for wider adoption. That money sits alongside structured incubation: mentoring from industry experts, guidance from academic and research institutions, and access to investor networks.

A core strength is the joined-up ecosystem, blending IIT Delhi's academic depth with India Accelerator's venture-building experience. Startups gain strategic mentoring, industry links, and chances to engage healthcare stakeholders, from hospitals and public health systems to private-sector partners, so they can refine products in real settings and line up with market needs.

The call covers a wide span of healthcare innovation, including digital health, AI-led diagnostics, telemedicine, advanced medical devices, biotechnology, public health technology, and robotics in healthcare. Shortlisted startups present at a dedicated pitching event to investors and stakeholders, and, based on how they do and how well they fit, may be taken forward for further incubation and funding.

Who can apply

• Open to startups in medtech and healthcare, including digital health, AI-led health, medical devices, biotech, pharma, public health tech, and healthcare robotics.
• The startup should already have a developed solution, such as an MVP, a validated prototype, or early market traction.
• The solution must show it can scale and make a real difference in healthcare.
• The work should be technology-led, with clinical or healthcare relevance at its core.
• The team must be willing to take part in incubation, mentoring, and pitching.
