About this scheme

Maruti Suzuki Accelerator is the flagship startup collaboration program under Maruti Suzuki Innovation designed to identify and support startups building transformative technologies for the mobility and automotive ecosystem. The initiative focuses on discovering innovative solutions that can enhance automotive engineering, connected mobility, electric vehicles, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies shaping the future of transportation.

Through this accelerator, selected startups collaborate directly with Maruti Suzuki's business and technology teams to co-create real-world solutions for automotive and mobility challenges. The program provides startups with access to industry mentorship, real-world testbeds, and the opportunity to build funded Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with Maruti Suzuki business units. Participants also benefit from product roadmap optimization, go-to-market strategy support, and exposure to senior leadership during Innovation Day where startups present their solutions to Maruti Suzuki executives.

The program also offers opportunities for deeper strategic collaboration including funded pilots, strategic investments, and international ecosystem exposure such as networking visits to Japan. By integrating startups into its innovation ecosystem, Maruti Suzuki aims to accelerate the development of next-generation technologies across areas like autonomous mobility, connected vehicles, AI-driven analytics, EV infrastructure, logistics optimization, and digital automotive services.

Who can apply

• Open to startups developing innovative technologies relevant to mobility, automotive systems, and adjacent deep technology domains.
• Startups should preferably have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or beyond, with early customer adoption or product-market validation.
• Startups from India or global startups with at least one operational presence in India are eligible to apply.
• Solutions should align with Maruti Suzuki's technology focus areas such as connected vehicles, autonomous mobility, electric vehicles, digital twins, supply chain technologies, vehicle diagnostics, logistics optimization, and AI-driven automotive services.
• Startups must demonstrate scalability, technological innovation, and the potential to integrate their solution with automotive industry use cases.

Benefits & funding

• Selected startups receive funded Proof of Concepts and pilots, potential strategic investments, and direct collaboration with Maruti Suzuki teams.
