About this scheme
The 3 Month Pre-Incubation Program for Future Founders is run by AIC IIT Delhi, the Atal Incubation Centre at IIT Delhi. It is built for first-time founders at the earliest possible stage, students, researchers, and young innovators with an idea but no company yet, sitting at TRL 0 to 3.
The program runs in two phases. Phase 1 is a five-day residential boot camp at IIT Delhi's Sonipat campus from 15 to 19 June 2026, covering vision and startup mindset, business model and revenue strategy, design thinking, rapid prototyping, market validation, customer discovery, and pitching fundamentals. Phase 2 is a three-month structured mentorship and validation track that begins after the boot camp, supporting selected participants as they sharpen their idea and test it with customers.
Selected participants get prototype development support of up to Rs. 3 lakh to take their idea from concept to a tangible early build. Beyond that, the program opens a path to apply for grant support of up to Rs. 10 lakh under the Startup Haryana Seed Fund Policy, subject to applicable norms and approvals. Participants also get a direct pathway to incubation at AIC IIT Delhi after the program, plus workspace and ecosystem access at IIT Delhi.
Participation is free of cost with limited seats. For students and researchers who want to test whether an idea can actually become a startup, with mentors, capital pathways, and an IIT-backed environment, this is one of the few structured early-stage programs that takes pre-MVP innovators seriously.
