About this scheme

Vision 2 Venture is the flagship incubation programme of the Incubation Centre at IIT Patna (IC IITP), designed to take innovative ideas from concept to market-ready startup. IIT Patna's incubation centre provides selected startups with access to world-class technical infrastructure , including prototyping labs, bioscience labs, and semiconductor fabrication facilities , making it one of the few incubators in Bihar with deep-tech lab access built into the programme.

The programme targets technology-driven startups across high-priority sectors: ESDM, AI/ML and IoT, AgriTech and sustainability, EV and clean tech, defence, MedTech, and life sciences and biotechnology. While the focus is sector-specific, startups with scalable ideas in adjacent technology domains are also encouraged to apply.

Selected startups receive structured mentorship from IIT Patna's faculty and a network of industry practitioners, along with access to investor and collaborator networks that the incubation centre has cultivated over its operating history. The programme also includes training programmes, certification workshops, and market access support designed to help founders bridge the gap between technical development and commercial traction.

A key feature of the IC IITP model is its grant support pipeline , selected startups become eligible to be guided toward government and institutional grant schemes, giving early-stage founders a pathway to non-dilutive funding beyond the incubation itself. How the application process works
