StartupTN invites applications for the Tamil Nadu Space Tech Fund, a dedicated initiative designed to support DPIIT-recognised startups building solutions in the space-tech domain.
The program operates as a matching equity fund with a total corpus of Rs. 10 Crore. Shortlisted startups can receive milestone-based financial assistance on a 1:1 funding match basis. This fund aims to accelerate commercialisation and scale for startups working on core or downstream space-tech applications, including satellite technologies, launch systems, GIS, AI for space, orbital logistics, and space data processing.
Who can apply
- Startups must be registered in Tamil Nadu or willing to shift their registered office to Tamil Nadu before fund disbursement.
- **Funding Status:** Must have a Lead Investor confirmed or must have raised funds in the last 12 months. Alternatively, having a letter of intent from an Investor is accepted.
- Must have a Validated Proof of Concept (PoC) such as a prototype, pilot, lab validation, or test results.
- Must be a DPIIT-recognised startup.
- Must be working in defined space-tech verticals.
