About this scheme
SmartAgri Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) is a start-up promotion initiative of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India, Agriculture Development & Farmer Welfare, and Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. Located at CSVTU Bhilai, the CoE supports start-ups in developing affordable and sustainable technological products and solutions to problems in agriculture and allied activities.
**Objectives:**
- Identify and onboard promising AgriTech startups.
- Incubate and support startups in creating innovative products for farmers in Chhattisgarh.
- Provide impetus to research, technology development, and entrepreneurship in AgriTech.
- Create a holistic ecosystem encouraging R&D and innovation in the Smart Agri sector in Chhattisgarh.
- Provide infrastructure and support services for prototyping, developing, testing and marketing.
**Focus Area:**
Start-ups, entrepreneurs, and researchers with innovative ideas/solutions in AgriTech, including Agriculture, Horticulture, and Floriculture.
Who can apply
- Eligible applicants are Indian startups incorporated as a Private Limited Company, Registered Partnership Firm, or LLP, not more than 10 years old.
- Unregistered teams can also apply but must incorporate within 3 months of selection.

- Selected AgriTech startups receive **seed fund support of up to Rs.
- 35 lakh** plus investment-facilitation support, within a comprehensive incubation package at CSVTU Bhilai: a plug-and-play incubation facility, research laboratories, prototyping support, mentoring, go-to-market assistance, legal & accounting services, IPR filing assistance, and access to the STPI CoE ecosystem and national/international events.
