About this scheme
SLINGSHOT 2026 marks the tenth edition of one of Asia's biggest deep-tech startup pitching competitions, organised by Enterprise Singapore and held within the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2026.
Prizes (Startup SG grant prizes):
Grand Winner: S$400,000 (about Rs. 2.97 crore).
First Runner-Up: S$300,000 (about Rs. 2.23 crore).
Second Runner-Up: S$200,000 (about Rs. 1.49 crore).
Top 10 Global Startups: S$80,000 each (about Rs. 59.4 lakh).
Top 50 Global Startups: a sponsored trip to Singapore for one founder, plus an invitation to the SLINGSHOT Domain Finals at SWITCH.
The total grant prize pool runs to more than S$2.2 million (about Rs. 16.34 crore).
Categories (five domains): Advanced Computing and Intelligence; Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Systems; Digital Technologies and Security; Environment, Energy and Sustainability; and Health and Biomedical.
Key dates: registration from 6 March to 30 June 2026, with the physical finals in Singapore from 27 to 29 October 2026.
Who can apply
- Open worldwide to technology startups registered in the past ten years that have a minimum viable product and a clearly set-out business model.
- A startup cannot be a subsidiary of a larger corporate group.
