About this scheme
Samriddhi 2.0 is a nationwide incubation programme organized by Technology Innovation Foundation of IIT Palakkad (TECHIN) in collaboration with Symega Food Ingredients Ltd. The programme seeks innovative Food Technology solutions that have reached Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 or above.
Applicants submit technology-driven ideas aligned with identified problem statements in food production, sustainable packaging, smart food processing, food waste management, food safety, and nutritional innovation. Applications are evaluated through multiple rounds, including expert screening and pitching sessions that assess both the technical feasibility and commercial potential of each innovation.
Selected startups receive hybrid incubation support combining online and offline mentoring, access to IIT Palakkad's innovation ecosystem, expert guidance, R&D infrastructure, business support, investor connections, and funding of up to ₹5 lakh based on the startup's requirements and evaluator recommendations.
The programme aims to nurture innovative food technology startups and help them transform promising technologies into scalable and sustainable businesses.
Who can apply
- Applicant must be an Indian national by origin and citizenship.
- Innovation should have achieved at least TRL 4.
- The innovation must be original, novel and proprietary.
- Applicant should be a startup or willing to register as a startup immediately after selection.
- Founder or co-founder must be engaged full-time with the startup.
- Applicants who applied to TECHIN incubation calls during the previous three months are not eligible.
- Selected startups must sign the TECHIN incubation agreement.
- Applicants must participate through the prescribed online application process.

How the application process works
