About this scheme
The Student Applications 2026 track is the dedicated student route into the Pusa Krishi Incubation Program, run by ICAR, IARI under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. It supports student innovators working on ideas or prototypes in agriculture, food, and rural innovation.
Selected students receive grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 4 lakh, structured as a non-dilutive grant with no equity taken. Company registration is not mandatory. Beyond capital, students get mentorship from IARI scientists, exposure to the Pusa campus research infrastructure, and entry into Pusa Krishi's agripreneur ecosystem.
