About WE Hub
WE Hub, short for Women Entrepreneurs Hub, is India's first state-government-led incubator dedicated entirely to women entrepreneurs. Set up in 2018 by the Government of Telangana under the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Department, it runs from Hyderabad and provides incubation, mentorship, funding access, and market linkages to women-led startups across sectors, created to address the gender gap in India's startup ecosystem.
It works as a single platform for women entrepreneurs at every stage, connecting them with mentors, investors, industry partners, and government programmes, and it doubles as a policy interface, shaping programmes for women-led businesses with state and central bodies, while extending into ecosystem building, awareness campaigns, and corporate and international partnerships. Its flagship incubation programme offers co-working space, mentoring, prototyping labs, and introductions to angel investors and VCs, and it runs sector cohorts in areas such as agritech, healthtech, and fintech, partners NITI Aayog, UN Women, and corporates for accelerators, hackathons, and pitch competitions, and reaches into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to find women founders beyond Hyderabad.
Women entrepreneurs across India, with a strong focus on Telangana and South India, benefit most, at every stage and across technology and non-technology sectors, with particular value for first-time founders, women from semi-urban and rural backgrounds, and those moving from traditional businesses into tech-enabled models.
