About Venture Center
Venture Center is India's leading science and technology business incubator, hosted by CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune. Established in 2006, the incubator supports scientists, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and technology startups in transforming breakthrough research into commercially successful businesses.
Over the years, Venture Center has supported 750+ entrepreneurs and built one of India's strongest innovation ecosystems for science-based startups. The incubator provides incubation, business mentoring, laboratory infrastructure, technology commercialization support, intellectual property assistance, regulatory guidance, investor connections, grant facilitation, and access to scientific expertise.
Venture Center regularly partners with corporates, government agencies, CSR initiatives, and research organizations to launch funding opportunities for startups. Programs such as the UKG India – Venture Center CSR Collaboration, Thoughtworks Climate Tech Launchpad, Cummins CSR Program, ARaymond Innovation Program, Indus Biotech Innovation Grant, and several other innovation initiatives help startups secure non-dilutive funding while accelerating product development and commercialization.
