About Sharda Launchpad
Sharda Launchpad is the entrepreneurship and incubation arm of Sharda University in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Set up in 2013 as a Section 8 company, it offers rounded startup support to student entrepreneurs, faculty innovators, and external founders, providing co-working facilities, mentorship, and access to the university's academic and research resources, with ventures spread across healthcare, agriculture technology, education technology, clean energy, and food and beverages.
The launchpad acts as a bridge between academic innovation and market-ready entrepreneurship, drawing a steady flow of student and faculty ideas while also taking in outside startups to create a mixed cohort; located in Greater Noida, it helps build startup activity in the NCR beyond Delhi and Gurugram, and the university's student body from more than 80 countries adds a multicultural angle. Its structured programmes provide co-working space, mentoring from industry and academic experts, prototyping facilities, and investor connections, run entrepreneurship workshops, pitch competitions, and hackathons, and help startups tap government funding schemes and industry partnerships, covering the journey from ideation through to early revenue.
