About Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH)
The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) is an incubation and entrepreneurship initiative of the Government of Andhra Pradesh to drive innovation and support startups and MSMEs. Inaugurated on 20 August 2025 at Mayuri Tech Park in Mangalagiri, its central hub in Amaravati spans 50,000 square feet and connects to five regional spoke centres in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Anantapur, with a goal of supporting 20,000 startups and creating over 100,000 direct jobs within five years.
It is one of India's more ambitious state-level startup infrastructure projects, using a hub-and-spoke model to spread incubation across six cities, including smaller ones such as Rajahmundry and Anantapur that usually lack institutional support, and it combines government initiative with substantial private commitment through partnerships with the Tata Group, L&T, AM/NS India, JSW Group, Adani Group, MEIL, Greenko Group, and GMR Group. Its programmes run by stage: the Future Founders Program is a six-week pre-incubation track that helps innovators turn ideas into prototypes and reach first customers; the RTIH Catalyst Incubation Program supports early startups with validated prototypes, offering up to Rs. 30 lakh in funding; and SPARK is a five-day intensive for aspiring entrepreneurs, with focus areas across deep tech, electric mobility, AI, biotechnology, green energy, advanced manufacturing, quantum computing, and climate technology.
