The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) is India's largest technology trade body, representing over 3,000 member companies in the IT-BPM sector. It plays a dual role as industry voice and startup enabler. Through its startup division, once branded 10,000 Startups and now NASSCOM Startups, it connects founders, corporates, investors, and government bodies, while its policy advocacy has shaped startup rules on taxation, compliance, and intellectual property, and it runs the DeepTech Club, India's largest deep-tech startup community. The flagship 10,000 Startups programme, launched in 2013, offers incubation, mentoring, funding access, and global immersion; it has supported more than 11,500 startups, funded 650, and facilitated over 5,500 global immersion trips, alongside co-working warehouses seating 100-plus startups, the DeepTech Club's research and corporate links, InnoTrek global immersion, hackathons, and the annual Product Conclave.
