About Marathwada Accelerator for Growth & Incubation Council (MAGIC)
Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) is a business incubator in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, formerly Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Set up by the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture, it is India's first business incubator led by a regional industry association, and it runs sector-agnostic, supporting startups and small and medium enterprises across manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and services. Its creation reflects the Marathwada region's ambition to grow its own startup ecosystem rather than rely on the established hubs in Pune and Mumbai.
The council brings organised startup support to a region long underserved by institutional incubation, and by tapping the chamber's network of established industries and agri-businesses it offers founders something many urban incubators cannot, direct access to manufacturing facilities, supply chains, and domain expertise in traditional industries. It provides co-working and incubation space, mentoring from experienced industrialists, workshops on topics such as digital transformation, quality management, export readiness, and access to finance, and help navigating government schemes, incentives, and subsidies in Maharashtra.
