About JioGenNext
JioGenNext is a corporate startup accelerator launched in 2013 by Reliance Industries under its Jio Platforms division. Based in Navi Mumbai, it identifies and accelerates high-potential startups by giving them mentoring, market access, and the chance to plug into Reliance's vast business ecosystem, and it runs on an equity-free model, which sets it apart from most corporate accelerators.
Its core value is acting as a bridge between early startups and one of India's largest conglomerates, opening access to Reliance's distribution network, customer base, technology infrastructure, and industry relationships, and helping startups validate products through pilots and proof-of-concept deployments inside Reliance's business units; for many founders this market access matters more than direct investment, since it brings revenue and validation that attract later funding. Its accelerator batches combine mentoring from senior Reliance executives and outside experts, business-development support, technical guidance, introductions to Reliance business units, and visibility through demo days and investor events, across sectors including enterprise technology, fintech, agritech, healthtech, and consumer technology.
