Andreessen Horowitz, better known as a16z, is a Menlo Park venture firm launched in 2009 by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz. It has grown into one of the largest and most influential investors in the industry, managing more than $46 billion as of 2025 and backing over 1,000 companies across technology, healthcare, crypto, and infrastructure.
