About this scheme

Kemin Industries South Asia Pvt. Ltd. – Venture Center CSR Collaboration aims to support entrepreneurs and startups working on technologies with potential social impact.

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, Kemin Industries South Asia Pvt. Ltd. has provided funding for promising ideas in the domain of sustainable ingredients and materials for feed, food, and nutrition at Venture Center since FY 2023–2024.

The grant supports proof of concept studies, prototype development, prototype validation, and adoption of appropriate technologies addressing social needs. Selected applicants become incubatees of Venture Center and receive grant support based on milestones approved by the Project Oversight Committee.

Who can apply

• Project must define a technology solution to a well-defined problem.
• Technology should be innovative or novel.
• Project should focus on proof of concept studies, prototype development, prototype validation, or pilot studies.
• Project Leader must be at least 21 years of age.
• Project Leader must be an Indian citizen (exceptional foreign national cases may be considered).
• Project Leader must pursue the project or startup full-time during the project duration.
• Project Leader must possess the prescribed educational qualifications.
• Companies must be registered under the Companies Act, 1956/2013 or as an LLP.
• Minimum 51% ownership must be held by resident Indian citizens if the applicant is a company.
• Applicant must become an incubatee of Venture Center if selected.
• Applicant should not have received another grant for the same project.

How the application process works

   Review the eligibility criteria for the Project Leader and the proposed project.

   Complete the online application form with applicant, project, and organization details.

   Provide information on the proposed project, expected outcomes, and funding requirements.

   Confirm eligibility, Indian citizenship/ownership, intellectual property rights, and willingness to become a Venture Center incubatee if selected.

   Upload all the required supporting documents.

   Submit the completed application before the application deadline.

7. 7

   Shortlisted applicants present their project proposal before the Project Oversight Committee (POC).

   Selected applicants are informed by Venture Center and complete the incubation admission process.
