**Permissible Expenditures under the Grant:**
* Outsourcing Charges for R\&D, Design, Consultancy, Testing, or Expert cost.
* Raw material, Consumables, or Spares.
* Fabrication or Synthesis charges of working model or process.
* Business Travel and Event participation Fees (Ceiling 10% of approved project cost).
* Patent filing Cost , (PCT - Ceiling 10% of approved project cost).
* Contingency - (Ceiling 10% of approved project cost).
* Mentoring.

Who can apply
- Focus Area/Sector for applicant startup: **Medical, Healthcare, Biotech and relevant fields**.
- Applicants must be individuals or early-stage startups, at least 18 years old, and the startup should be incorporated in India with a minimum of 51% equity held by Indian citizens
- The proposed project must be a physical product with a roadmap towards commercialization, and the prototype must be completed within 12 to 14 months.
