About this scheme
iAccelerate Batch 2 is an accelerator program spearheaded by the Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT Hub), an initiative of the Government of Tamil Nadu. This program is specifically designed to support deep tech and emerging technology startups originating from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities within Tamil Nadu. It targets ventures that have progressed beyond the ideation stage, demonstrating readiness for market entry and growth.
The program focuses on startups that have achieved TRL 3 and above, evidenced by a working prototype, a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), or early market traction. iAccelerate provides expert-led strategy sessions, offering crucial guidance for scaling. Participants gain access to corporate and government partners, connect with over 30 investor partners, and receive pitch opportunities to sector-focused investors, with seed funding of up to Rs. 40 lakh available for graduating startups.
Who can apply
- The program is exclusively open to Deep Tech and Emerging Technology startups with founders or operations based in Tier 2 or Tier 3 cities in Tamil Nadu; startups from Chennai or other Tier 1 locations are not eligible.
- Applicants must be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 or above, meaning a working prototype, MVP, or early market traction is required; pure ideation-stage ventures are not considered.
- The program targets technology-first startups in areas such as AI, hardware, clean tech, health tech, agri tech, and advanced manufacturing , the solution must be built around a deep or emerging technology.
- Startups must be actively operating beyond the concept stage with a clearly defined product or technology already in development or early deployment.
- Graduating startups from the cohort are eligible to apply for seed funding of up to Rs. 40 lakh each, subject to evaluation criteria set by iTNT Hub.
- Applicants must be willing to participate in expert-led strategy sessions, investor pitches, and structured mentoring engagements throughout the program duration.
