About this scheme
Honda Innovation Challenge 1.0 is a deep technology startup collaboration program launched by Honda in partnership with T-Hub to co-develop next-generation mobility solutions. The program enables selected startups to work directly with Honda's strategy, engineering, digital, and service teams to design and pilot innovative mobility technologies in real-world operating environments. The initiative focuses on solving practical challenges across vehicle safety, predictive maintenance, roadside assistance, and intelligent in-vehicle experiences.
Selected startups participate in a structured 12-week co-development journey where they build and validate solutions using real customer journeys and operational contexts. The program offers up to Rs. 10 lakh in co-development funding for a paid Proof of Concept (PoC), along with mentorship from Honda's technical teams and ecosystem support from T-Hub. Through this collaboration, startups gain access to industry expertise, real user validation, deployment opportunities within Honda's mobility ecosystem, and exposure to a global OEM innovation environment.
Who can apply
- Startups must have a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP) ready for real-world deployment.
- Solutions should align with mobility innovation areas including safety, predictive vehicle maintenance, roadside assistance, driver support systems, or in-vehicle AI intelligence.
- Teams must demonstrate the capability to deploy and validate their solution within a 12-week program period.
- Solutions should demonstrate scalability, integration feasibility, and potential for real-world customer adoption.
- Early customer traction is beneficial but not mandatory for application.
