About this scheme
The GENESIS Pilot Program at STPI Electropreneur Park (EP) CoE, Bhubaneswar is a flagship initiative under the GENESIS scheme of MeitY aimed at supporting deep-tech and ESDM startups with market-ready solutions.
The program is designed to enable startups, especially from Tier-II and Tier-III cities, to validate and demonstrate their solutions through pilot projects with corporates, PSUs, and large enterprises. Electropreneur Park Bhubaneswar offers a robust incubation ecosystem with state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced prototyping infrastructure, and plug-and-play facilities.
Selected startups receive financial assistance and end-to-end support for prototyping, product development, validation, and commercialization. The program also focuses on building innovation capacity, strengthening IP creation, and facilitating industry-oriented research and development in the ESDM and semiconductor ecosystem.
Who can apply
- Startups must be based in Tier-II or Tier-III cities of Odisha.
- The startup must be DPIIT registered.
- Applicants should be working in the Electronic System Design Manufacturing (ESDM) or Deep-Tech product domain.
- The startup must have a working prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- A viable business plan is mandatory.
- The founding team must consist of full-time founders.
- The startup must possess a valid Purchase Order (PO) or Pilot Work Order (WO) from an eligible corporate, PSU, or unicorn.
