About this scheme

ARISE 2026 is the early-stage track of the Pusa Krishi Incubation Program, run by ICAR, IARI under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. It backs founders working at the idea or prototype stage in agriculture, food, and rural innovation, where company registration is not yet mandatory.

Selected applicants receive grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 5 lakh, structured as a non-dilutive grant with no equity taken. Funding is paired with Pusa Krishi's mentorship, scientist access, and incubation infrastructure at the Pusa campus, helping founders move from concept to a validated prototype.

Applications close on 17 May 2026 (11:59 PM).

Who can apply

• Open to founders at idea or prototype stage in agri, food, or rural innovation
• Company registration is not mandatory at application stage
• Founder name must match Aadhaar; applicant must be the founder
• Apply directly , no third-party submissions

Eligible entity types: Private Limited, LLP, Individual Innovator, Proprietorship, Partnership

Benefits & funding
