About this scheme
Agri YOCH is an Agripreneurship Orientation Program (AOP) implemented by the ANGRAU Poshan Incubator under the RKVY-RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubation Scheme, supported and funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India.
The program is designed to support individuals with innovative ideas or early prototypes in agriculture and allied sectors through a structured one-month orientation programme. Participants undergo mentoring-cum hands-on internship alongside active startups, gaining practical exposure to business concepts, market strategies, industry challenges, and solution development.
After successful completion of the orientation programme, selected participants are provided an opportunity to pitch for pre-seed (idea stage) **grant-in-Aid up to 5 lakh** to convert their innovative ideas into prototypes or products. The program aims to build a strong pipeline of full-time agripreneurs and strengthen the agri-startup ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.
Who can apply
- Applicants must propose an innovative idea based on technology, services, or business platforms aimed at improving efficiency in agriculture and allied sectors.
- Applicants must be willing to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations on a full-time basis.
- Applicants should have an initial business plan or proposal for the idea they intend to pursue.
- Startups already receiving grants or financial support from any other government source for the same project, product, or activity are not eligible.
- Only full-time agripreneurs are accepted under this program.
