About this scheme
The NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP) at IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre is an equity-based seed funding initiative implemented under the Department of Science and Technology's National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations. The program is designed to support and accelerate promising DeepTech startups by providing early-stage capital along with structured incubation and ecosystem support.
Through this program, selected startups receive equity-based investment of up to INR 25 lakhs to help them validate technology, strengthen product development, and prepare for market entry and scale. In addition to funding, startups gain access to IIML EIC's incubation ecosystem, including curated startup toolkits, legal, IPR and financial support, advanced infrastructure such as supercomputing facilities, IoT and 3D printing labs, as well as structured mentorship, networking, and corporate engagement opportunities.
The program aims to nurture innovation-driven enterprises with strong technology differentiation and long-term scalability, enabling them to transition from early development stages to sustainable, growth-ready ventures.
Who can apply
- Applicants must be DPIIT-registered startups operating in the DeepTech domain.
- The startup should be currently incubated at IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre or be willing to incubate at IIML EIC upon selection.
- Founders must be Indian citizens and should collectively hold a minimum of 51 percent equity in the startup.
- The startup should demonstrate strong technology innovation potential and alignment with the objectives of the DST-NIDHI Seed Support framework.
